Arts Education is a fundamental component of education for Arizona’s students. In recognition of this vital aspect of the Arizona arts community, AzCA/AA began the Arts Education Advocacy program in 2009.
The program has 2 main goals:
1. To generate awareness about Arts Education in the state of Arizona and about the State Academic Standards for Arts Education.
2. To recruit volunteers and train speakers and arts education advocates.
We provide trainings to parents, teachers, students, administrators and the community in relation to arts education in Arizona’s K-12 schools. Our trainings include:
